Cindy grew up in Maben, Mississippi and graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in elementary education.  She has a National Board Certification and has taught grades K-4 for 30 years before retiring in 2015.

She is married to Steve and they have two grown children; Cari and Matt. Cindy has served as Director of Mother’s Day Out since 2017.  At MDO she enjoys spoiling children while Mom, Dad, or Grandparents have a day off!

When she is not at Mother’s Day Out, she enjoys volunteering with church projects, reading, sewing, crafts, and walking Charlie (the schnauzer that rules the house).
